Dr. Kwok Li graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University (now part of NYU). He then earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, further strengthening his technical foundation.

He worked as software design engineer for a few years before decided to change career and to pursuit his childhood dream of becoming a doctor. He received his M.D. with honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1996. Following medical school, Dr. Li completed his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where he received many research honors and served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Li is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and remains actively involved in several respected medical organizations. His professional affiliations include Fellowship in the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as membership in the American Cataract and Refractive Surgery Society, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the Research to Prevent Blindness Society.

With more than two decades of experience serving The Woodlands community, Dr. Li is widely recognized for his expertise in laser-assisted cataract surgery, premium multifocal lens implants, and astigmatism-correcting lens implants.

Outside of his practice, he enjoys volunteering for local community, spending time with his family, as well as swimming and playing golf.
